The course, opening in 1999, presents an appealing mix of traditional and contemporary design features such as intricate bunkering patterns, wide fairways, and heroic design strategy. Expansive fairways meander through some of the most stunning beauty on the island. Several holes ramble along the tidal Brudenell River, offering panoramic water views, while other holes are located in dense spruce forest, along natural wetlands and in open meadows. Dundarave Golf Course is also home to a short nine-hole course and comprehensive practice facility which was named Canada's best learning facility for many years running.
